Enjoy summer produce all winter long by having it canned at the Thomson High School FFA Cannery located at 802 Whiteoak Road in Thomson. The Cannery will accept produce from 7:30-11 a.m. to be processed and canned on the following dates: June 2-5 June 15-17 June 24-26 July 6-10 July 20-23 Common items to have canned include tomatoes, peas, beans, squash, peaches and blueberries. Other items to consider canning are juices, spaghetti sauces (no meat), soups (no meat), salsa, applesauce and pie fillings!
