You will create a Google Slide to complete your advertisement activity. You must select a print ad with words AND an image. It must be school appropriate. 

Answer the specific questions about the ad you choice:
    1.Who is the targeted audience? Be as specific as possible.
   2.What promise(s) does/do the ad make? Can be explicit or implicit.
   3.What keywords/phrases are used to help convey the “message” of the ad?
   4. What is the PRIMARY Rhetorical Appeal being used? YOU MUST EXPLAIN    AND PROVIDE TEXTUAL EXAMPLES/EVIDENCE. 
    5. What is the author’s purpose?

Complete the Graphic with Textual Evidence to Support the Thematic Connection in the center. 

Create a Google Document. 
Type a 4 - 6 Reflection of the novel/movie - Use the guiding questions on the Agenda.
Use MLA Format.

A specific scene you found interesting and why

Use the resources we discussed in class (pre-writing  and, memoir graphic organizer) to write the rough draft of your personal narrative. 

You will create a Google Document and type your final draft using MLA format.

Use the STEAL chart that was completed in class about the character, Anna, in "The Leap" by Louise Erdrich. 

Choose ONE of the character traits that you used to describe her and write a Character Trait Analysis paragraph using the example as a model.

Create a Google Document and write an extension of the story of what happens 10 years from the ending that conveys how the experience of meeting Ms. Washington changes Roger's life.

This will be a quiz grade.
