The THS FFA Poultry Team was notified March 1 that it placed first in the Area 4 Poultry Judging Career Development Event held Wednesday, Feb. 27, in Dodge County. The team consists of Kendall English (1st place individual), Abby Williamson (3rd place individual), Laney Swint, and Aubrey Bentley. Participants in Poultry Career Development participate in a comprehensive event relating to judging, placing, grading and identifying live birds, carcasses, eggs, poultry parts, chicken patties, nuggets or tenders and presenting oral reasons. The team will now move on to compete at the state competition on March 22-23 in Athens.
