Thomson High School Senior Michael Rogers was named the STAR Student for the 2019-2020 school year. Michael named First Sgt. James Jennings, his NJROTC Instructor for the past three years, as his STAR Teacher. Michael and First Sgt. Jennings were guests today at the Thomson Rotary Club, where the official announcement was made. The STAR student is selected based on SAT scores. The STAR student is the student who earned the highest SAT score on a single test date.
