Thomson High School’s CTAE Department is excited to have received a $32,000 grant for a Summer Welding Camp at Thomson High School!
The Rural Workforce Preparedness Grant was awarded by the Georgia Chamber Foundation and will enable students currently enrolled at Thomson High School to participate in a summer camp, which will focus on Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, MIG welding and TIG welding of steel and aluminum, and oxygen/acetylene cutting.
The camp will run Monday - Thursday, June 10-27, at Thomson High School.
