Thomson High School welcomed Greg Derry of Joesbury Insurance as THS Principal of the Day Jan. 9. Mr. Derry spent the day shadowing Principal Carla Shelton as she performed her day to day responsibilities. The Principal of the Day program is sponsored by the Thomson-McDuffie County Chamber of Commerce. The program is designed to increase awareness among individuals in the private sector of the strengths and challenges in McDuffie County schools;
