Thomson High School Junior Victoria Wells was selected to attend the Washington Youth Leadership Tour as a delegate of Jefferson EMC. All of the schools in the Jefferson Energy service area (Burke, Columbia, Emanuel, Glascock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, McDuffie, Richmond, Warren, and Washington) submit applicants to be considered. Based on Victoria's written application and an interview with JEMC representatives, she was selected to attend.
