Three Thomson High School students placed first in the regional Young Georgia Authors Contest, CSRA RESA officials announced Friday, March 23.
Freshman D'Angelio Jones', Junior Kaylee Sweeney's, and Senior Larry Hawkins' entries were selected as grade level regional winners in the Young Georgia Authors Competition.
Submissions will now be forwarded to the state for the final round of the contest, with winners announced for each grade level later in the school year.
