Welcome to Early Childhood Education

Welcome to Early Childhood Education at Thomson High School!  I am thrilled to have an opportunity to teach our future Educators.  We will prepare for a potential career that will allow students to have a positive impact on the lives of children.

This is my first year teaching this course.  I previously served as the Principal and Assistant Principal of Thomson Elementary School  It was indeed a pleasure to be a part of the school's history as we closed the final year of the school.  I also served as the Assistant Principal and a Teacher at J.A. Maxwell Elementary School.  My first teaching assignment in McDuffie County was at R.L. Norris Elementary School.  I started my career as a teacher in Jefferson County at Wrens Elementary.

I earned a B.S. and M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Fort Valley State University.  I earned my Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College.  I am married and have three children who are Thomson High School graduates.  It is indeed a pleasure to walk the halls of this beloved high school.  I am looking forward to making a positive impact on all students that I encounter even beyond the bricks.
