Welcome!

Mr. Michael Youngblood boasts a remarkable start to his 22 year career in education.  His strong commitment to discipline and leading students has been seen on Friday nights in his demand for excellence in the classroom and on the field. 

He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Southern University, Masters Degree from Troy University and a Specialist Degree from Kennesaw State University in Instructional Technology.  This marks his eighth year as a valued member of the Thomson High School team united in leading young people Beyond the Bricks. 

Mr. Youngblood is thrilled to contribute his extensive experience and passion to the Thomson High School community and looks forward to working with all students as they strive to become model citizens of McDuffie County.
