Erik Hardison » Welcome

Welcome

My name is Erik Hardison and I am honored to be serving as the Assistant Principal for Administration. I was born and raised in Macon, Georgia and have spent most of my life in the state. I attended LaGrange College in West Georgia where I played football and served as a team captain while obtaining my Bachelors degree in Psychology. Following graduation, I attended Augusta University where I obtained a Masters of Science in the field of Clinical Psychology.

In my professional career, I have held internships at the Augusta State Medical Prison and have worked at East Central Regional Hospital (ECRH) on the secure, forensics unit. While at ECRH, I served as a Behavior Health Counselor and as a Recovery Team Facilitator. After six years, I was able to join the Student Services department here in McDuffie County as the county's Behavior Specialist. I served in this role for four years. I am currently pursuing my Tier II Leadership certification and Ed. Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. This will be my third year in administration here at Thomson High School.

My wife, Lauren, and I have four children and a lovable mutt named Captain.

Looking forward to a great year where our students take P.R.I.D.E. in themselves, their work, and their school.

Go Dogs!
