This video is a brief overview about the early childhood education pathway. This video also introduces the teacher, Mrs. Lori Whatley. Additionally, it also explains where to locate the class syllabus for each period.

what's the early childhood education teacher for fall of 2018 what do we do in early childhood education first of all in early childhood when we learn all about Child Development from prenatal to adolescence next we learn and appreciation for the stage of early childhood and how important we learn how to take care of children of all ages by keeping them healthy and stay we talked about different topics in each and in second year we learn how to keep them safe from things like child abuse and how their nutrition should be to keep them healthy and in third year we really work on different topics events that currently apply to the early childhood education stage of Shore and last we wanted the best way to teach children so they can grow up and reach their full potential in early childhood to An Early Childhood is there a lot of work yes there is especially in early childhood because I'm doing so much to get you prepared for early childhood and early childhood you can go out in the classrooms around our community cares and schools and of course some of the experiences and for that I'm sorry hope that if you will stick with our pathway that once we are able to see face-to-face and other schools and daycares are able to be face-to-face then we can start placing you out on a date places as it's appropriate the health situation and our numbers of people who are infected or who are not infected what is my teacher like well there's a lot of that made out of read this whole screens that I've been teaching for 26 years straight that Dan and Norris school and Thompson High School so I'm an alumni of this school system I'm very proud of it I have a lot of pride in everything about Thompson High School about our essay when we have different Spirit Week at are sports activities even instructional activities in our classroom I hope you will see that I go all out that's me a lot of fun and I like having fun when I'm learning that will allow you to have fun also in addition to be honest I'm also a mom and a dad to children's board is my oldest child and saw your I married to touch lightly he teaches construction right down the hall they took my children plan to be teachers and I'm proud that we passed that love our professional and I hate that I will share my spirit and spirit for your town in your community and we can build something here that we are very proud of class supplies I know that's another topic that people would like to know about and here are the supplies exit this right off of our syllabus and these are the most important things you need to have I know you will be at home right now how to get organized as so important in the future whether you work a job whether you're in college technical school no matter what your employer's or anyone in authority over you is going to expect good organization is good to have these materials because hopefully we will be returning to face face instruction you can say what all those are here this is hard for you to stay down here because there's something covering it up but please check my teacher webpage to see all of the courses the syllabus all of the information that she needs to know about this class I look forward to meeting you please that is on my webpage also if you have any questions and I will try to get back with you as soon as I can I hope that you had a great summer and I'm excited about us being together to learn
